Asphalt & Offroad is published by William Thomas, a private individual in Western Australia. The site carries no advertising and sells nothing, so the amount of personal information involved is small. The Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles apply.
Reading these pages
No data is gathered about you. There is no form, no account, no comment field, no analytics package and no advertising or social tracking code. The site loads one short script whose only purpose is remembering that you dismissed the cookie banner.
Email correspondence
A message to [email protected] brings your address and whatever you wrote into a mailbox on this domain. It is used to reply to you. It is not added to a list, not shared with any publisher or advertiser, and not processed by any automation. Correspondence is deleted once it is finished with, and in any case within two years.
Web server records
The hosting provider logs requests — IP address, time, file, browser string — for security and troubleshooting. Retention is short, the records belong to the provider, and they are not used to identify or profile readers.
Your rights
Ask for access to correspondence we hold from you, ask for a copy, ask for a correction or ask for deletion. Send one email; we act on it and confirm in writing. Complaints can also go straight to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

This site is written for adults choosing what to install and does not knowingly hold information about anyone under 15.
